When looking at websites for bands you will see a vast variation in styles. REMEMBER the band is only a half of the entertainment. A fantastic band working with a poor caller can be disappointing, just as a  good caller working with an uninterested band won’t make your evening special. We always have the same caller. Choose a band that has a clear commitment to quality and professionalism. Book as early as possible don’t leave it to the last minute.

·        Will you be providing food if so what is the cost?     

·        What is the cost of the entertainment?                        

·        Do you want to decorate the hall?

·        Will you be selling drinks?

·        More formal events can generate greater income.                               

·        What is the cost per ticket x people attending?

·        Do you have support from friends and colleagues?

·        How will you advertise the event?

 

                                           Fund raising events can be good fun.

                           But remember effort equals success.
