VENUE
First you need a comfortable venue, strip florescent lighting can lack atmosphere, lighting is very important. Balloons are always look good and at the end of the evening after the last dance, popping them can also be fun, which sounds like fireworks without the fire risk.
PEOPLE ATTENDING
Let them know what type of event they are attending and give them as much information as possible prior to the event. (Is fancy dress required)? Food, drink etc. If you need any advice please call.
ENTERTAINMENT
When
looking at websites for bands you will see a vast variation in styles. REMEMBER
the band is only a half of the entertainment. A fantastic band working with a
poor caller can be disappointing, just as a
good caller working with an uninterested band won’t make your evening
special. We always have the same caller. Choose a band that has a clear
commitment to quality and professionalism. Book as early as possible don’t
leave it to the last minute.
Re: Cost, just like buying a car would you buy the cheapest, you may not want a Rolls Royce but you wouldn’t buy a 1969 mini if you need a reliable car. It’s reasonable to expect quality at a sensible price.

One of the most important factors when setting up fund raising events is the ability to repeat the event on a regular basis. It is essential that participants have a great time.
